Foster parents have the first option to adopt. We will provide all you need to foster.
Weight: 11 lbs
Age: 2 years old
Personality: Bear is a lap dog who loves to cuddle. He has an excellent easy going personality.
Coat: Bear's coat is very soft and doesn't shed. He can be groomed short for easy maintenance or have long hair. We groomed him with a short "puppy cut."
Training: Knows how to sit and shake.
Potty trained: Yes
Health: Very healthy
History: He was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Korea. Mixed breed dogs are very difficult to get adopted in Korea, so we brought him here to find a forever home.
Fostered in: Fullerton
Type of home: Any type of home will be ok, as long as they have the time to spend on having a dog. Bear would love regular walks and outings with his family.
Crate trained: Yes
Good with Dogs: YES
Good with Kids: YES
Good with Cats: Probably, but unknown
Adoption fee (non-refundable): $300
All dogs are fully vetted, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and up to date with vaccinations.
Our adoption process looks like this:
1. Adoption application review by WHDR board
2. Adoption application approval
3. Meet and greet
4. Home safety check
5. Final approval and adoption finalized
Our volunteers, donors and adopters mean the world to us! Without you, we couldn't do what we do - saving the lives of abused, neglected and abandoned dogs and providing them with a loving forever home.
