My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Atticus is a two-and-a-half-year-old Belgian Malinois/Chesapeake Bay Retriever Mix. This guy is very smart, a real “working dog.” Atticus is active, but has great self-control. He knows when it’s time to be active, and when to chill. He loves to learn and would be great at all types of training. Malinois are typically used for police work these days, because they are so driven and smart. He can be a family dog, but will need to be engaged; he won’t accept sitting off in the corner or left in the yard. He wants to work, whether that’s actually a job, or a fun activity, like agility, to keep him occupied. He would excel with a person who wants a dog to be a focus in their life, as a hobby or active companion. For more information email Noelle at ashley.p@poainc.org.
