Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You just have to meet one of the most awesome 5 month old coonhound mix brothers little Colonel! This little and sweetest hound-lab baby weighs only 18lbs now. He’s not full Coonhound (black and tan?) so he won’t likely be more than 45lbs when full grown. Colonel is an active and loveable boy who enjoys playing with brother Culver and he is smart and food motivated too! Colonel is a typical puppy, active and awkward, but also good natured and fun-loving. Colonel is a bit shy at first but warms up to after only a few minutes. Colonel ignores his foster mom’s cats and is very loving and loveable. Colonel is working on his basic commands and can’t wait for social and fun puppy class. Loves to be with people and animals of all kinds, Colonel needs you to help him with his leash skills. We doubt his former crappy owners in north Georgia (who dumped him at the high kill shelter) ever had him on a leash. Colonel is quiet like a Labrador and totally loves the outdoors. Colonel would love a fenced yard with an active, loving family who would get him the energy outlet he needs and the attention he craves. He loves to run and will be an awesome exercise partner when he is older and a great family dog. He settles down nicely in the house and would love to be adopted with his brother Culver, though we think they will be fine alone as well. Colonel is enthusiastic about his future without fear of a bad owner and he is looking forward to his brand new world in Washington State. Culver and Colonel will be leaving on transport on Wed, Nov 11th and will be ready to meet you in Snohomish on Nov 14th. His adoption fee is $500. Colonel is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped and ready for his new life! Please complete an online application at www.raincityrescue.com (choose the adopt tab) or email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com if you have any doubt that this best black and tan baby is your forever boy!
