Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ebert! This scruffy little guy is a whole lot of personality in a petite body. Ebert is Ropert's brother and is the smaller of the two.He is about 6 months old and under 10lbs (but is working on gaining some weight) The fosters believe they are Chinese crested mixes (maybe with scottish terrier).
Ebert has the most interesting hair. His back portion is short but the front is long and scruffy which almost makes it look like someone gave him a lion's cut (but it is just his natural hair style!).
Ebert, like Ropert is currently fostered with another dog and loves having a buddy therefore he MUST BE ADOPTED INTO A HOME WITH ANOTHER DOG. With his foster brother, Ebert has minimal separation anxiety and has only had one accident since going to his new foster home.
Ebert loves to go for long walks in the park and loves to run around and make friends. He is the kind of dog who loves every one and every thing and will try to make friends with all people out on his walks. He is a social little guy with a lot of love to give.

**Please note that our dogs may be located in foster homes around NJ and the NYC area. It would be a great help to us if you can pick up your dog from transport, which is centrally located from Northern NJ and NYC, or foster home.**
**PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR PHONE NUMBER IN YOUR INQUIRY** We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them. Please do not submit an inquiry if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us. For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process.
Our adoption fee is $475. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where it is kept for a minimum of 2 weeks for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. After the 2 week quarantine time they are spayed/neutered and fully vetted. They are then placed on the website. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested in it, we make arrangements with the waiting foster to pick the animal up from the airport to then meet with the potential adopter. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
