Meet Maxwell! This guy's adorable nubby tail, sleek black coat, and happy-go-lucky, center of attention attitude will immediately win your heart. Maxwell was found on the side of the road by a kind stranger when he was only a couple weeks old. Left by his mother, he was very hungry and had a wound by his tail that maggots had to be pulled out of. Luckily, a foster was able to immediately take him home and bottle feed him until he grew into the handsome pup he is today! Now, Maxwell absolutely loves to play with other dogs AND cats (when he's not snuggling with his people, that is!). Being a puppy, he still needs a little help with his house manners, but this sweet boy is a smart pup and ready to learn for his new family!

At around 5 months old, this guy weighs in around 25lbs and will most likely grow to be medium in size, making him the ideal size for an active family! He would be an ideal playmate for another dog and would also love to have some kids around to rough house with as well. Maxwell is a great pup that cannot wait for his forever home.
