Hi all. My name is Cindy, I am a 5 yr old Shitzu/Maltese cross whose elderly owner's recent ill health has left me homeless. I am very cuddly and loving, can amuse myself but also loved to be played with. I like my toys and sleeping in my kennel at night. Hope you don't mind if I snore a bit.
Since I am not much of a barker I will paw at you when I want to go out. I am good with other dogs but am a bit of a Princess and really want all the attention to be on me. So while I can live with other dogs and currently do, I would be happiest if I was the only one. Cats are definitely out as you will see from the attached video. In the video I am watching a cat who has enetered the room. They make me crazy!
I love going for walks and am very good on the leash. I wear a harness so I don't choke myself if I see a cat. Did I mention they make me crazy?
During the past couple of years I haven't been taken to a groomer but rather have been getting haircuts at home. I looked a bit odd. But I recently got groomed so I would look prettier for my photo shoot. Apparently not having gone to a groomer for awhile made me behave like a bit of a DIVA. But I am sure I will get used to it again.
My ears were also badly neglected and as a result I got a some ear infections that weren't treated. Now I need them to be cleaned on a regular basis. I also lived mostly on food scraps and got allergies. My feet got swollen and caused me to limp.I am eating a proper diet now so am doing much better. I am eating better food now and no longer limp.
As previously mentioned I am not a barker but I do love to sing. I get on well with other dogs but being being Princess I am I am pretty bossy with them. It doesn't matter to me if they weigh ten times what I do I will still let them know I am the boss. I am hypo-allergenic, non-shedding, housetrained, and am told I have a delightful personality (unless you are a cat, of course) I am spayed, tattooed and up to date on my vaccinations. My adoption fee is $400.
