Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The email to us read this way: Lady A639040 – She’s a 4yr old Terrier/mix who was picked up as a stray in North Fort Myers and never claimed. She was ok with the Officer and signed in as normal, but is way too fearful here. She’s full grown and a petite 28lbs. She’s a cute little girl but needs to get out of here.
That is the information we got from her and that is it. This is generally what we have to make a decision with: not much. Sometimes we go to see if we can rescue them, but most of the time we go by instinct and see how it will turn out. This is again a great case of pure Love. Lady, when we got her, was so scared and had just got spayed, so she was hurting to the point, she snapped. That is the only way they can express their fear and hurt. We took her and we knew something was not right after the spay. Lady could not pee and had blood in her urine. So before she went to her foster Mom Connie, we took her to the Vet and actually found out she had a urinary tract infection which is common after surgery. Now we can report she is doing quite well. She made good with her foster Mom in her crate, and as soon as Connie opened the door, Lady started to explore the house and the yard. She is very people friendly and great with other dogs as well. She is 28 Lbs and very pretty, with her sable color and white chest and feet. She looks actually smaller than her actual weight. She is, of course, potty-trained and is now adoptable. Would like to meet her please fill out the application at www.findahomegiveahome.com under the tab "forms" or under this page. Thanks for your interest.
Her adoption fee is $130.00 + $20.00 for microchip registration
