My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bernard, who goes by Bernie, is a treat of a dog! He's a well mannered 8 year old terrier mix who is 100% house and crate trained. Bernie is a laid back, low key gentleman who doesn't have too have many preferences in life beyond liking being around his humans, getting his belly scratched and eating treats. Looking for a walking buddy? He likes short and long walks. Not a walker? He's just as happy to hang in the backyard and putter about. He does adore car rides and will do a little dance when he sees his leash! He is quiet except for the occasional "sing along" when a fire truck or ambulance drives by, ignores the resident cats/pets and once he has been introduced to other dogs will happily hang out beside them. He would make a wonderful pet for a working person as he doesn't mind sleeping the day away or a family with older children. Bernie's dream home would be a quiet place in the suburb away from the hustle and bustle. He's looking for his perfect retirement home!
