Hello there. I'm Baby Peanut. I'm a senior dog- approximately 8-10 years old... needless to say I do not act like a senior, I'm very happy and spunky and I absolutely LOVE people!! I'm not a typical little dog in the sense that I am so friendly and social, even with strangers. I have some attitude with other dogs if they're hyper and all up in my old lady business, but I am great with calm dogs.
I was surrendered by my owners... they had me living outside in a rabbit hutch type enclosure. I was covered in fleas and deserve a much better life than that.
I am SO happy here at the pound. I try hard to keep my crate clean but sometimes I am unsuccessful because it is such a long time that I have to hold it. I do excellent during the day though when someone is here to let me out.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer. I do need a dental, which will need done at the expense of my new owner after I get adopted.

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER SEPTEMBER 22, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
