Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Booker! Booker is a solid 16lb, 9 year old shihtzu. He was found as a stray in pretty bad shape. He was so matted that no one could tell if he was a boy or a girl! Well, Booker is a boy and he has gotten all cleaned up and he is a doll! Booker has a very distinct personality. He is kind of like a cat in a dog’s body. He enjoys being near his people and making sure they are within sight, but he isn’t a lap dog and is quite independent. He likes to hang out on a dog bed and relax. He is playful and enjoys toys. He is good with other dogs and cats. He is housetrained and he is a happy little boy who walks with his head tilted and will also tilt his head when you talk to him. He is a roly poly dog with a fat belly and he has a funny walk because he had slipped patellas which were never fixed. It is too late to fix them and they don’t cause him any pain right now. He is susceptible to arthritis in the future because of the slipped patellas. Many senior dogs have arthritis and the pain can be managed with relatively inexpensive medications. He is definitely worth it because his silly little mannerisms will make you laugh. Booker needs regular flea control and a high quality grain free diet. He is just so happy with life and wags his tail all the time. His foster mom really likes him and hopes he can get into a home with someone who likes cats since he is so cat like. Booker is up to date on all vaccines, including rabies, neutered, and microchipped. He has had his teeth cleaned and is in good shape! Booker’s adoption donation is $150.
