Included in the adoption fee are rabies & distemper vaccinations, heartworm testing, deworming, spay or neuter surgery, and a free initial exam by one of many generous veterinary clinics who have donated their service.
Ajax came to the shelter because his previous owner had no time to care for him. He is an energetic and happy boy who will do well in a home with no children, who will give him lots of time for play and exercise.
We always recommend crate training, exercise, playtime, and a regular schedule for potty breaks when bringing a new dog into your home. Adjustment takes time for both you and your new family member, so remember to be patient and enjoy this new and exciting time!
