My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tonka was a 24/7 outdoor dog and ultimately was left behind in her owners' yard when they moved. Luckily, a neighbor rescued Tonka and brought her to Poochmatch. She is around a year and a half old (based on her teeth which are pearly white). She gets along great with other dogs, male and female. Tonka is gentle and plays great with a five pound Chihuahua and other small breed dogs. She is house-trained, crate-trained and leash-trained and behaves great in public areas. She currently weighs in at 55 pounds and we don't expect her to grow much more. If you are interested in adopting Tonka, feel free to contact her foster mom, Ariel at 714-485-3716.

If you are interested in meeting this dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between noon and 4 pm, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster mom.

All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, necessary vaccinations, fecal testing and deworming. Adoption fees vary solely based on age and size.
