My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

About ELLIE
Meet Ms. Ellie. She came to use as an owner release. Only 9 months old, 17 pounds she is an adorable bundle of joy. Her mother was a purebred Shih Tzu and her father a Westie....

El is very cute and eager to please. She is affectionate and well behaved; crate trained, house trained, walks on a leash and greets people well. She is not overly comfortable in a car but we are working on that and she is doing much better.

Ellie gets along great with other dogs and LOVES cats. She is good with older children. Ellie is a low shed dog that will most likely not require regular professional grooming.

Ellie would enjoy a home with another playful dog. Her adoption will require a fenced yard and not being left for a typical 8 hour work day; someone that works from home, works part time or is retired. This is a super sweet pup, a lot of fun, smart and cuddly.

If you think that your lifestyle and environment can meet El's needs e-mail Martha at learymjri@aol.com or call 330-262-0515 or 330-466-3667 for more information or application.

NOTE: We no longer adopt to people who are using or will continue to use commercial, chemical flea preventatives/products. This is a dangerous neurotoxin that poisons the life force of your dog (his or her blood) in order to kill a flea. There are serious side effects including seizures and even death from the use of this product. It is so toxic that it is under the control of the EPA, deadly to wildlife, a toxic water pollutant, dangerous to children and pregnant women.. With over 40,000 complains of sickness and death a year reported to the EPA from the use of these chemical flea products, we feel we can no longer put our dogs in homes who continue to use these products for flea prevention. We are happy to talk with you about natural flea preventatives.
