My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, my name is Cora. Were you drawn to my page by the allure of my cute button nose? Most people are; I won't fault you for it. Now that you're here, I can tell you more about all my favorite things.
I came to MaxFund in 2003, and I was adopted right away! I lived with my owners for eight years and I loved them very much. However, in 2011 they had to bring me back to the shelter because their landlord didn't want me to live there anymore. I've gotten over it, but I still want my own forever family.
I'm currently in foster, and my foster mom says I like to sit on laps to keep you warm. Aren't I nice? I pride myself on being a courteous kitty; after all, an old lady should keep up on her manners. I also really love feather toys, and I'm a Guinness Book of World Records Runner-Up for "cat who purrs the most and won't ever stop purring." (I only came in second place because I got distracted by a feather toy.) Would you like to meet me? I'd sure like to meet you! I am currently in foster care so if you would like to meet me contact the shelter to schedule a meet and greet!
