My story

Posted 7/28/15. Sylvie is a gorgeous 1 year old Walker/Border Collie mix girl who was found as a stray and taken to a vet hospital by a caring individual. Sylvie is extremely sweet, very friendly and just a happy go lucky pup. When she arrived at the vet hospital, she was covered in ticks and very thin. No one ever came forward to claim this sweet dog. Sylvie has a great temperament and is still very much puppy like. She is very smart and wants to always please her person. The foster mom reports that she is just a sweetheart and she loves everyone and everything she meets. Sylvie is great with other dogs, cats and kids. She currently weighs 42 lbs. but needs to gain about 10 lbs. She is loving all the TLC she is finally receiving and she is doing great! We would love for Sylvie to go to a home where she gets a lot of attention and exercise in form of playing, walking and being able to run around in a securely fenced in yard. A pup about her age and size would be great for her as a play buddy and canine companion. Sylvie would definitely benefit from some basic obedience training as she acts much like a puppy.
