Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Yep! You’re not hallucinating; you are looking at one of God’s most unique combinations of two dog breeds; a Basset Hound and a Rottweiler! Oh my a once in a lifetime thing of pure glory. Herschel is like the Ole Man in the Sea; he is easy going, smart and doesn’t miss a trick. He lives with multiple foster dogs and multiple cats and does great with them all. Occasionally there is a foster visitor that doesn’t meet his “BFF” criteria, but no matter….he just walks past them with a little upper lip action. He is a lover not a fighter. And when it comes to moving fast in life, well Herschel is in that Tortoise and the Hare category, filling the role of TORTOISE moves all the way. He is 5-6 years old and solid as a rock as you can see. He moves well, loves life and likes to have belly rubs. He is a great all around dog; housetrained, crate trained and part of a nice foster pack where he behaves and co-exists nicely. He would be pretty good on walks if you just give some intense one on one time. Presently he is in a fenced yard and doesn’t get very much exposure to leash walking. Herschel will be a show stopper if you make him your companion for life. He will “hustle” his way right into your heart! ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
