Meet Silvia, an adult dog available in Weatherford, Texas.

Hey guys! My name is Silvia. I have been living in a cage for awhile, with a bunch of other dogs in cages around me. They were barking all the time and I hardly got any sleep. At least I had food every day and I was out of the rain though. After the nice person in the truck picked me up and brought me there, the people took really good care of me. One day, I overheard them saying that I had been there too long and if they couldn't find a rescue or adopter for me, I would be in trouble. I don't even know what I did to get in trouble! Then they put me on "the list". I do not know what that means, but they looked really sad about it. After that, something really good happened. They said that I was tagged for rescue! I knew what that meant because I seen some of my friends get rescued. That meant that a human came and took them away, but it was the good kind of away with wagging tails and kisses and smiles. So here I am... being rescued. This is what the lady that rescued me called my "freedom ride". I heard the lady say this was a team effort so I just want to say thank you to everyone that helped erase my name off that list. I think this is a new start for me. Love, Silvia.
