In ancient societies, one’s wealth was defined by the number of cattle one owned. Cows have long been a symbol for love, nurturing, kindness & generosity. In dream dictionaries, dreaming of a live, happy cow is almost always a positive symbol.
What's that? I'm NOT a cow? Well, OK, I knew that. Sorta. So really... I am a dog? If you say so. Still... I probably bring with me the same auspicious qualities that a cow would (my birthday is July 7th aka 7-7 aka Lucky 7's.) Plus, the Board of Health won't get after you for having a Jersey spotted DOG in your yard !
I'm Abby & I'm a spayed, healthy, friendly, 3 yr old, loveable low-rider (that is, I have short legs.) I love-love-love low key people, nice children, even babies & dogs. I'm smart (know SIT & STAY,) capable (housetrained well) & fairly obedient too. As they say in the dating world, 'I am a great catch.'
I'm in need of a new home because my human has been having some chronic health troubles. She wants me to be with a person or family that isn't distracted by illness & has time to spend with me. I'm good to her grandkids (including a tiny infant) & her grown children as well. I don't need a lot--just some regular walking & some good ol' fashioned human kindness. Would you be in need of a friend like me?
My Underdog friend Sue came out recently & took photos of me. She told the other dog social worker that I was AWESOME & that I would make a great family dog.

Underdogs asks potential adopters to fill out an application so we can make the best match for me. They also request an $85 adoption fee to help contribute towards rescuing expenses. My current person thinks I am priceless & is sad to see me go but she wants to do best by me & I appreciate her for that. Email soon so we can spend the summer together as best pals! Thanks for visiting my bio. Love, Abby
