Have you met Dawn yet?

Dawn arrived at New Lease on Life about a month ago as part of a late night rescue. We received word just before midnight that someone had found a litter of "two week old pups starving by the side of the road without their mother."

When our volunteer arrived on the scene though, the situation was quite different. The pups were four MONTHS old, not two weeks, weighing in at almost 15 pounds each. Those would have been some pretty big two week olds! They arrived shortly after midnight, filthy, terrified and very skinny.

What a difference a month makes!

Dawn is now a very happy, social 5 month old Border Collie/Pitbull who loves attention and will greet you by the door the moment you arrive. She enjoys hanging out with the other dogs and following the cats around.

You can meet Dawn Monday through Saturday 1pm to 7pm. She is already spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped, so she's ready for a new family. We're expecting her to be around 60 pounds full grown.
