My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maisie is a quiet, cute little girl who has a friendly, easy going temperament. She is 6 years old and 22 pounds. Her pretty strawberry fur is a nice combination of soft and wiry and might be low shedding but no guarantees about that, of course.

Maisie enjoys taking leash walks and potties nicely while on the leash. She spent a lot of time outdoors in her prior home so may need a little reinforcement with her housetraining but that should be easy since she is a cooperative kind of gal.

Maisie could be an only dog in her new home or a companion to another laid back dog. She gets along great with the other dog from the home that surrendered her but we still need to test her with our other rescue pups here.

Maisie sits on command and enjoys attention from people but is not a demanding girl. She should be easy to live with. She is not used to playing with toys. Her favorite activity is exploring outside so she should make a great walking companion.

Since she spent a lot of time outdoors in her prior home, she has a few itchy spots from prior fleas, but she is flea free now so her skin should heal quickly and her fur grow back in pretty strawberry blond waves.
