My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mirabella has just arrived and is an adorable girl ready to meet you! We are listing her as a Beagle mix but she is quite leggy, so please make a note if you insist on medium size, for she may (or may not) mature to be taller. She is a confident, energetic girl with a sweet and social nature. Playful and outdoorsy, she will do well with an active family. We do not recommend her as a first pet, but if you have puppy raising experience she will be quite enjoyable, as long as you keep her occupied and exercised. The south (she was pulled from a high kill shelter in rural Alabama) is very fond of its Beagles for hunting, so the Beagles from there will often have more energy and senses of motivation. If you are looking for an athletic partner or a yard playmate for your kids, she would be fantastic for you :) We unfortunately cannot consider apartment dwellers for pups of this type as she has that loud, projected hound voice and is not shy about using it.....she wants to be with you! lol We are working on that behavior, and a good pawparent to continue to guide her in the right direction will be best. Her adoption fee is $450, and she is ready to go as soon as she has her spay appointment. *****IMPORTANT NOTE!***** The wonderful AlwaysAdopt Super Dog Adoption is coming June 7. This generates a tremendous amount of interest and traffic on our site. If you think you might be interested to meet her but have questions, etc., do not delay in submitting an application with your initial inquiry. Meet-and-greets are prioritized by the order in which applications are received, and this puppy is apt to be adopted very quickly.
