Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I'm, my name is Chief. I'm a 3 year old Aussie Malamute mix with a docked tail. Chief has been waiting a long, long time now for someone to wrap loving arms around him and provide a safe permanent home. All the volunteers who walk Chief simply cannot understand why this guy has not been adopted. Chief walks beautifully on a leash and has wonderful people manners. Like most dogs, he will need daily exercise and need a home with no chickens or cats. Chief is a very smart boy and is highly trainable. We have watched him change over time from a hyper pup to a well mannered boy. We believe Chief can have a fur brother or sister with a proper introduction via a couple walks together first and he will thrive in a loving home where he can feel safe and loved at last. This guy SO deserves a HOME of his own!!
I love giving you kisses and will try to sit in your lap if given the chance. I had a rough start in life, I was separated from my owners and left as a stray to fend for myself until I was found and brought into a shelter after being hit by a car. I'm so thankful for a second chance at life! I'm a goofy, fun loving dog that loves human and other canine companionship.
I've been catching up on my training lessons and socialization skills. I attend a training class with Sit Means Sit every Monday and have been meeting new dogs as often as possible. I'm eager to learn and slowly becoming the perfect dog!
The wonderful people at the rescue think I deserve a second chance, will you be the person that can give me one?
