My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roo and her sister Chubbs were found in an abandoned home after the owner had passed away. Neither had ever had human interaction before and were malnourished and in need of medical attention. Luckily they were rescued, brought to the vet and are on the road to recovery. Both are still a little shy but are warming up quickly to people and like other dogs. Both are approximately 14 weeks old. Roo is about 6 lbs and is very sweet, feminine and cuddly. Unfortunately, Roo has a heart murmur, but she'd still love to find a home where she could play, cuddle, continue to trust humans and maybe find a sweater or two to wear.

This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for our Triple Header event weekend! First, CPR will be with North Shore Animal League at Petland in Southbury, CT Friday, May 29th from 2pm-6pm. On Saturday, May 30th CPR will be with North Shore again at Petsense in Westbrook, CT from 11am-3pm. Lastly, CPR will be hosting an open house at their adoption center on Sunday, May 31st from 10:30am-1:30pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from Sunday's event. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event. You can APPLY while you are there, but the APPLICATION will not be processed the same day. Come meet our pups and find YOUR forever friend!

This puppy is spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Roo's adoption fee is $275.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $75 fee will be added for puppies picked up from our Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. MA residents are no longer allowed to adopt from our adoption center or our adoption events due to MA regs. All MA adoptions must be finalized prior to the puppy leaving our care in TN.
