Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Connor is a very handsome one year old with a fabulous and unique coat. It is super soft and wavy, with black fur that has soft brown roots, and seems to be low shedding (no guarantees, of course). We would love to know his breed mix but can only guess. Maybe German Shepherd and Poodle? Maybe Shepherd and Chesapeake Bay or Curly Coated Retriever?
He was found as a skinny, hungry stray in Greensboro and, at 33 pounds, still needs to gain weight. He is very enthusiastic about treats and food and should gain back weight quickly.
Connor is a happy, friendly, alert, confident boy who loves attention and interacting with people. He has a lot of youthful energy and gets excited about just about anything. He really enjoys his life and does not want to miss one minute of fun!
He likes to play with toys and enjoys squeaky ones. He does not seem to be possessive about his toys.
Since he is just a pup, he is still a bit of a wild child with a short attention span and will benefit from an energetic owner who will take him on lots of walks, play with him, and provide him with proper guidance so that he will grow into a well mannered adult. He has wonderful potential.
Connor is so wonderfully interactive that he is a talkative boy, almost conversational. You can tell he just loves to communicate with people. He has a bit of an odd voice and sounds like he has been debarked though the vet does not think this is the case.
Connor loves to play with other dogs and would make a wonderful playmate if you are looking for a companion to your current pup.
Handsome and happy Connor is ready to come home with you and spread his special brand of cheer. If you enjoy an active, playful, fun and loving dog, and are ready for puppy energy, Connor is the one for you! If you enjoy training an intelligent and interactive dog, Connor will gladly be your enthusiastic student.
