Hello! I was sitting in a pound worried about my future when something good happened - a local vet tech school came and got me out so I could help them learn about being a vet tech. I have a lot of fun here at school and am treated very well, I get lots of attention. And they are helping me find a new home so I will have a place of my very own at the end of the semester which is March 13.

The school says: "Pita is an adorable male dog around 18 months old, he is super friendly and loving seems to like the other dogs. We are trying to figure out what breed he is, about 57 pounds with big feet! He is very nice!"

NOTE: This dog was pulled from a pound by a local school to help teach students become vet assistants. The semester will be over March 13. We are helping this dog find an adoptive home or a rescue group by then. Adoption fee is $65 for dogs and includes spay/neuter, shots, heartworm testing for dogs, microchip, deworm, flea preventative.
