Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hope is as sweet as she looks. She's kind, submissive, smart, and very loving. She will do best in a home with other dogs. She LOVES dogs (all sizes). At her foster home, she follows and learns from a lab mix. At the same time, she is patient with an elder feisty teacup yorkie. There is not an aggressive bone in this girl.
She is timid and shy with men in a home setting. We hate to think what happened to her. But in public places (i.e. dog park, walking on the street) she is less shy with men. We believe with time, patience and the right match, she will overcome her shyness with men. Certainly having another dog will help her come out of her shell.
Hope was pulled by some out of state rescue and immediately put into boarding where she has been for almost a year. The out of state rescue abandoned her months ago and the owner of the facility reached out for help. She was deteriorating in the kennel, cowering in the corner, depressed and anxious. This poor dog never had a say in the matter. Who knows how long she was at a kill shelter before this flaky "rescue" pulled her out only to dump her in boarding.
Hope is 45-50 lbs, approximately 2 years old, a weimaraner/pit mix. She's healthy, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
