Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We didn't know pit/catahoula mixes are a new "designer" breed, but apparently, someone had the bright idea to breed the two. Meet Lucas. He is a seven month old male catahoula/pit mix who found himself lost at the shelter. When his owners came to reclaim him, the warden told them he needed neutered and they said, no thanks. So he came to us. Lucas is smart, active and loving life now that he is NOT destined to be used as a breeding machine. He gets so excited to learn, he literally tap dances in place. He is great with other dogs, cats and all people, and is going to make someone a GREAT family dog! The rescue has put Lucas through some training by a Canine Good Citizen instructor and he believes Lucas could be a great therapy dog. He has fantastic focus and is very gentle!
Lucas's adoption fee is $200. All MVPC dogs are heart worm tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate trained and on a great potty training schedule. All inquiries begin with an adoption application found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. No adoptions will be made to individuals under the age of 25 except on a case by case basis.
