Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This beauty is PAPRIKA - A sweet, gorgeous girl who MAJR saved from euthanasia at a high kill shelter in Georgia. The first photo Paprika's foster mom saw of her, posted on Facebook by people pleading for someone to save her, was gut-wrenchingly sad, as she was defeated, close to being euthanized, scared and very malnourished. Once her foster mom saw that photo she reached out to MAJR, and, through the compassion of many rescue people working to save her, Paprika's journey to safety began. Since the day she arrived at her foster home on a transport from Georgia, Paprika's inner and outer beauty has been apparent. She has a beautiful, strong body with stunning markings and long, lovely legs. Her expressive face is regal with high standing, proud ears and eyes that will melt your heart. Her current weight is around 30 pounds. Since her arrival, Paprika has been giving and receiving love in heavy doses. She is a good girl, full of love and kisses. Paprika blended in quickly at her foster home and gets along well with her foster siblings (6 of them!). She thinks her feline foster sibling is interesting, and could possibly be fun, but has shown no aggression with her. The rescue vet estimates Paprika's age between 6 mos.-1 year, and puppy love and antics abound! She is so happy now that it melts her foster mom's heart. The vet believes she could be a Jack Russell/Stafford mix, but no one can ever say for sure, except that she is a natural born beauty. Paprika loves to play, wrestle, chew on strong bones, fling stuffingless toys around, and play tug of war with her smaller siblings. She learned to sit for her treats in one day, is currently working on other commands, and is going through the potty training process. She is a smart girl. She walks well on a leash, is learning to feel safe in new areas other than her foster home, and likes to walk at the park down the street from her foster home. She has been spayed, microchipped, and is up-to-date on all vaccines. Paprika would make a wonderful companion, and family pet who would let you know on a daily basis how grateful she is for giving her a forever home and your love. Please fill out an application and give yourself the gift of Paprika!
