Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beautiful Byrdie is like a fawn, long and lean and as she bounds down the trails. This gorgeous girl is playful and energetic and she is ready for your daily runs, trail hikes and outdoor playtime. Byrdie is the cutest mix of Whippet and Boxer maybe, or Pharoah Hound? She weighs a mere 28lbs now but is super thin. She should weigh more like 35lbs after putting some much needed weight on. Byrdie was rescued out of high kill north Georgia from a home where the teenage kids were mean to her. But she has nothing but love and affection for her foster family and doesn’t hold it against those crappy people. Byrdie will be anxious to put Georgia behind her and head to Washington State on Nov 18th. Byrdie is patient and spirited with children. She is quiet and intelligent and eager to learn. She is still a puppy at barely 10 months old and she will enjoy puppy class and your instruction. She is amazingly agile and would love to play fly ball or dog sports with you. Byrdie is quiet, not much of a barker and gets along well with other dogs. She has been curious about the kitties and with proper introduction we think she will be fine with cats. She is strong for her size and does require daily exercise and she is getting much better with her leashed walks. Byrdie is in foster care with farm animals and many other dogs and is the BFF of her doggie friends for being bright, energetic and a great play partner. She will make an excellent family dog. Byrdie is crate trained and house trained; spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. She will be ready for her new forever home when she arrives in Washington on Nov. 22nd. Her adoption fee is $400 and you can apply online at www.raincityrescue.com. Any questions, email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com. This fun and friendly- super social pup deserves a great new home where she is appreciated and loved for her energy and intelligence!
