Virginia was found tied to a telephone pole-with an embedded collar. The shelter treated her and all hair has grown back. She is a very friendly little girl. She LOVES to play with other doggies and her favorite thing is laying on the couch, on her back for belly rubs. Best guess for breed is Corgi/Beagle/Terrier mix? She is now being locally fostered in Massachusetts. Her foster mom says: We call Virginia, "Ginny", she is crate trained and mostly house trained, better every day. She gets along great with our dogs and isn't too interested in the cats She will look like she wants to play and chase and just a quick - "No Ginny" redirects her. She has come nose to nose with them many times and IS NOT aggressive to them or anyone! She walks well on a leash and comes when called. No food guarding at all, takes treats extremely gently. She loves toys and playing tug-o-war with my lab mix. They play very very well together. She is a very sweet, special little girl, who we are spoiling so she can forget all about her previous trauma. She would make a great addition to any family.
