Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOSTER LOCATION: Salt Lake City, UT
This handsome dude is Buddy; a 3 year old English Mastiff/Boxer mix who found himself at a local shelter when his owner became homeless. Fuzzy Pawz couldn’t resist this squishy face so we sprung him from lock up and placed him in a foster home.
You could not ask for a better companion than our boy Buddy; all the loyalty and patience of a Lab with the relaxed personality of a lounging cat. This boy is a love and just so relaxed and easy going it’s hard not to just spend all day every day with him. He just wants to be close to you and let you know he is there; you know just in case you want to rub his head and ears! He can fall asleep anywhere, most often within a couple feet of you. When he does fall asleep you will know it, because he snores! It’s so cute! His foster family's kids think he sounds like a piggy.
Indoors he is the perfect gentleman, he knows sit, shake, lay down and he loves to fetch but is not great at bringing things back yet; he is also house trained! He loves cuddling up next to you in bed. He is a great foot warmer. Buddy is not very vocal inside but he will occasionally let you know when someone is at the door. With visitors he has great manners and sits and waits to be petted. Outside he loves to roll around in the grass and lounge in the sun. But he does prefer to be inside with you.
Buddy gets along gets along great with dogs and cats and he has been around rabbits and birds in the past also and did fine. He is also currently living with children from 4 to 10 years of age without any issues at all! It's just amazing how friendly Buddy is with everyone and every animal he meets.
He does have chronic ear infections which Fuzzy Pawz Rescue has treated. It is very possible it is either an over growth of yeast or a food allergy; both issues are easy to fix and we will make sure you know how to do that going forward. With proper care and cleaning on a regular basis the infections will not happen.
Buddy is neutered, vaccinated
If you are looking for the greatest pal ever please fill out the application for him at http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ and his foster Mom will get back to you quickly.
