My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cricket is a 1 1/2 - 2 year old sable and white female mini Aussie mix.
She was listed at the shelter as a BC mix, but is not BC, as her play
stlye is quite Aussie in nature. She has a Spitz look about her,
possibly an Icelandic Sheep Dog mix. Cricket is a fun and energetic dog,
who loves to stand up on her hind legs and bounce. Due to some of her
natural behavior, teaching her tricks should be easy. Agility is another
possibility for Cricket. She is highly affectionate and wishes to
please. She settles down nicely in the house and is house broken, as
well as uses a dog door. She gets along with our 2 dog savvy cats and
even wrestles with one cat who doesn't realize she is not a dog. If the
other cat runs, Cricket will chase, so dog savvy cats are a must. She
loves to ride in the truck watching the scenery go by. Cricket would be
best placed as an only dog. She is dominant and because of her play
stlye, has had difficulty making friends with my BC's (who are
snobbish). She has not been evaluated with children, however due to her
exuberant nature, she should not go to a home with small children.
Cricket is a great little dog who enjoys life, and she will make someone
an awesome canine companion.
