Here's what the humans have to say about me:
J. B.’s life has been like a country song. Just when you think things could not get any worse, they get worse. He was dumped in the pound by his “so called” family with a companion dog. After months there, his buddy got adopted and J was scheduled to be euthanized but was rescued at the last minute. He is a very handsome four year old chow/cattle dog mix. He was probably tied out his whole life. Literally, chunks of his ears are missing from fly bites. His foster mom’s semi-significant other tried to reassure J by telling him, “It’s o.k. dude, chicks dig scars”. Just when it looked like things were looking up, J was diagnosed with heartworm. After undergoing grueling treatment, he was finally able to be neutered and go up for adoption. He is good natured and affectionate and bonds like super glue to his people. He is working on resolving the separation anxiety he developed from his horrific past. When trying to figure out what J.B. stood for, 2 wonderful people stepped up and offered to share their names with him: Julie Brown and John Broadway!
