Meet sweet Vinny! Vinny is a 7 year old, 80 lb pit bull/catahoula. One of his eyes is half blue and he has some really need spotchy coloration on his sides. He is a friendly boy and has done great meeting all sorts of new people. He will walk up to you politely for petting and then go on his way, we haven't seen him jump up to greet anyone or be otherwise pushy about trying to get attention from you. Vinny knows sit, listens very well and takes treats extremely gently. He received high praise from the vet, he was fine with everything from nail trims to having his teeth checked out. Vinny is not good with cats. We don't think he is good with small dogs but he might do ok with another calm large dog. He has not made any effort to escape his fosters yard but since he is a big dog he should have a 6 foot fence if he is going to be outside unattended. Please check breed bans in your area before applying to adopt Vinny. Vinny is a friendly, mellow, well behaved guy looking for a new home to call his own.
