This sweet little girl is Maddy. She recently arrived in Colorado all the way from Houston, Texas. Maddy came from an unfortunate situation in Texas. For some crazy reason, someone neglected and abused this poor sweet little girl and did not remotely give her the amount of love and affection she deserves. It is hard to understand how anyone could do that to any dog, let alone this sweetheart. She was then taken to a shelter in Houston where Maddy sat on death row until she was rescued just in time and brought to Colorado.

Maddy is quite the love bug and can't wait to find her cozy, forever home. She is shy at first, not surprising, due to her unfortunate past, but once she warms up, is as sweet as could be. She loves treats and just can't wait to cuddle up in your lap.

Maddy is about a year and a half old foxhound/beagle mix. She weighs 32 pounds and would be the perfect dog for outdoorsy people! She would be a great runner and hiker, but is also that perfect size, not too big and not too small. Maddy is already house trained and would LOVE to live with another dog friend!
