My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cookie is a gentle girl who needs some love! Cookie is a young senior, about 8 years old, and is looking forward to some happier times in life. She was rescued from a bad situation and it is remarkable that she is so open to love after all the let downs she has experienced. Cookie is all beagle and has shown some digging/climbing tendencies; as such she will need someone who knows how to keep her safe in the yard. She is about 22 pounds, walks well on a leash and gets along with everyone including dogs and cats. She would do best in a home where she has some canine companionship, as she is very social with dogs and watches them to learn how to “be a dog”. At this time she likes a quiet household as she is still coming out of her shell, but we suspect as time passes she will be fine with more activity.
