My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Manfred is a four year old bearded collie x standard poodle mix. Manfred was surrendered by his family that could no longer care for him. He weighs about 60 pounds but is a little plump. He lives in a foster home with other dogs of all sizes and cats too! He is VERY friendly with everyone. You could not find a sweeter, calmer, gentler dog. Mani is a LOVE!! He has great manners. He is looking for a family that will love him forever and be HIS!! He is completely house trained.

Mani is hearing impaired so will not be a good guard dog, but he loves everyone anyway. He is learning hand signals and comes running whenever he sees his foster family.

Mani does not shed and is hypo-allergenic.

Manfred's adoption donation is $475 which helps to cover the cost of his neutering, micro-chipping, shots, vet examination and certificate of health.

Our primary source of funding comes from our adoption fee. This fee allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
