My story

Here’s Gambit, a very playful and happy fellow looking for a home to call his own. He is great with children and is a very, very smart dog. He loves to explore and is very confident and friendly. He walks like a champ on leash so his new family is sure to have wonderful adventures with this well-behaved young dog. Gambit is attentive and especially enjoys learning new tricks. He is so much fun to toss the ball with and has a blast with his squeaky toys. Gambit prefers people to other dogs so being the only dog in the house would suit him just fine. Gambit was surrendered to a shelter when his original family could no longer care for him. He is 11 months old and weighs 26 lbs. Gambit has been neutered and microchipped and is up to date on all of his shots. He is crate trained and housebroken. He is great in the house – very obedient and respectful. Gambit has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. We would love to introduce you and your family to Gambit and see if he’s the one for you! The first step in our adoption process is the adoption application form which you can complete online at www.cedarfarmrescue.com . After you have submitted the form call 336.251.8877 to make an appointment to meet him. We typically arrange the visits for between the hours of noon and 4 pm or after 7 pm any day of the week, holidays included. We are at our adoption center by appointment only.
