Hey everyone in New England! I'm Poncho and am I just the cutest little 2 year old Pug/Cairn Terrier mix that you have ever seen? I weigh 14 lbs. and sort of look like a Pug with a scruffy coat. Some people may be drawn to what my foster mom in Tennessee calls my "undersmile" - that adorable way my teeth show most of the time, but it's my charming, funny ways that are so endearing. She said that I am such a sweet little boy that she can't believe anyone would have given me up if they didn't absolutely have to. I get along well with other dogs and I like people, too, especially if you want me to cuddle up with you on the sofa or if you want to throw a toy for me to run after and play with. I am doing pretty well at walking on a leash and with my housetraining, although you need to be firm with me about not lifting my leg in the wrong place. I have been neutered, micro chipped, vetted and am current on all of my shots.
