Cooper is a young energetic Border Collie mix, about 10 months old. This boy is no couch potato, he's always ready to play! He'd love to have an active family with a nice yard to romp in. He seems okay with other dogs who don't mind being "herded". He's a nice medium size with a beautiful red coat, and lots of personality! He needs some training, but does pretty well on a leash and knows "sit."

Del Norte County Animal Control is located in rural Crescent City, CA (a tiny coastal city on the OR/CA border). We have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t come outside and play. Please consider making a difference in a dog’s life and adopt from our shelter!

We are open Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm.
We are closed Saturday and Sunday.

Adoption fees are between $15 - $95 depending on if the dog has been previously fixed and if you are adopting in Del Norte County or out of the county.
