Howdy there! My name is Rodeo! I am about 1 year old and I weigh about 45 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the East Liverpool area. I was found after the pound had closed. There was an officer on scene who had caught me. They called the girl at the pound who was on call and even though it wasn't an emergency, she came to get me because she couldn't stand the thought of me being out in the -15° weather we had that night.
The officer met her with me to see me off (he really like me, but his dog wouldn't have). When she came to get me, I jumped right up in the truck, curled up on the seat and slept the whole way to the pound. I was so happy to be warm after being out in that cold weather.
I am a very, very nice boy. I should go to a herding breed savvy home though. I need a family that understands cattle dog behavior so that I can be as happy as possible in my new home!
I am a great boy with all of the people I have met here at the pound. I also seem to get along well with the other dogs.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

I AM SCHEDULED TO BE EUTHANIZED ON : FEBRUARY 5TH. IF MY EUTHANASIA DATE AND TIME ARE ABLE TO BE EXTENDED IT WILL BE. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS AS I AM NOT IN URGENT NEED OF A HOME BECAUSE I AM. THIS IS DETERMINED ON A DAY BY DAY BASIS AS THE POUND'S SPACE IS VERY LIMITED.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
