Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Abby is a one year, three month old spayed lab/hound mix, red in color with a white chest. She is built like a lab, but small in stature, she weighs 45 lbs.
Rabies, DHLPP, Lyme, and annual heartworm test are up to date, next due in March of 2014.
Abby is a sweet, playful, people-loving dog who is eager to please. She is great with kids and loves to play, and will eagerly curl into a lap for a snuggle if invited. She has grown up with cats, and is curious but friendly toward them. Abby's hound background does drive her to follow a scent if she catches one, so she would do best in a fenced yard. She is attentive both on and off leash, and will stay close with the command of "here." She sits before coming to her food bowl, she is trained to an invisible fence, and is getting better and better about not jumping up in her enthusiasm to see people. Abby would benefit from an obedience class or regular social interaction with other dogs to help decrease her anxiety when encountering a new dog. Abby prefers company and would do well in an active home with a family who enjoys being outdoors.
Application will apply and references checked. For more information and/or questions, please contact Pam Danford @ 804-229-4043.
