Onyx is a very personable girl. She is about 6 yrs. old, 45 pounds
It only takes a second to break the ice with her and once she's comfortable, she's actually quite self assured.
She listens well to her person and tries to do what's asked. She quickly learned to use the doggie door in her foster home. She's been good with other dogs and tested ok with cats at the shelter, but she's possessive of her person's affections and wants to hog the treats, so we think she'd do best as an only in her home or a real experienced dog owner that knows how to be a good alpha leader that will teach her
She can play very well with a like minded dog and would enjoy play dates I'm sure.
Onyx came into the shelter originally with a small dog and was kenneled with him, but did not get along with (bossed around) the small dog in her foster home, so we think she'd do best with dogs her size and larger.but with the right small dog and male may be ok
Onyx was great with the 9 yr. old girl in her foster home. We suggest kids 8+ for her.
