My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wookie is a senior male Shih Tzu, approximately 14 years old. He is neutered, heart worm negative and current on all shots.
Pretty much potty trained on all fronts. No accidents at night. Goes to the door during the day. VERY sweet!! Loves everyone, likes to snuggle. Great with cats and kids and other dogs. Seems to know basic commands, come, sit, etc. Would not put him with toddlers though due to his age. Older, behaved kids would be fine that would know how to hold him. Hears and smells well, can see close movement and since on second week of antibiotics doesn't run into things any more. Can (and will!!) jump up on couch and loveseat. Doesn't much like to sleep in a doggie bed.
A recent blood test has shown that Wookie suffers from Ehrlichia. This is a blood disease caused by a tick bite.
