My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The A puppies are one year old (as of mid-August) Allie and Alexis are two of the cutest pups ever! They are both so very sweet and very bonded with each other. Their foster mom thinks they really need to go together because where you find one, you find both! They can be timid with new people but when two of us went to take new photos, they warmed up to us very quickly and were playful, fun and gave lots of kisses!

Their siblings all have been adopted and are doing wonderfully, but they almost all share the same trait of disliking being crated. If Allie and Alexis are crated together they do OK - by OK I mean they do not break out as much. Alone, they have Herculean power - for a 20 lb dog to break out of a crate is pretty amazing! They do best when they are in a "doggy proof" area together or with their other canine buddies.

They are full grown at about 20-25 lbs (Mom was a medium size lab and Dad was reportedly a yorkie). Their cute wiry hair and bears remind us of schnauzers. Adorable!

We think they would be too skittish with little kids but older respectful kids who let the girls do the initiation of attention would be great.

Allie and Alexis have cats in their foster home which they ignore. A ferret got loose one day and they just watched it walk by. There are also birds which they don't mind at all.

Double the kisses is what you will receive if you have room in your heart and home for these two little cuties!

Please note: We do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
