My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Missy
Female
American Staffordshire/Pointer Mix
DOB:7/24/13
Weight: 12 Pounds

Missy appears to be looking like her ancestors, the Staffordshire dog, which is strong, agile and generally happy and outgoing. This breed is gentle and loving toward people and makes an affectionate family pet that is good with children. Missy is not housebroken, is playful with other dogs and is friendly and playful with strangers.

Getting a puppy maybe one of the most exciting experiences in a person’s life, but it is also a big responsibility. Knowing how to raise a puppy well, keeping it safe, healthy and happy is not all fun and games. Just a few of the things a new puppy owner will need to do is: Potty Training; Socialization with other humans and animals; learning to walk on a leash; teaching the puppy not to chew. The puppy’s obedience level depends entirely on the owner’s skills in teaching the puppy everything it needs to know. Getting help from a qualified trainer is sometimes the best way to start.

So before you adopt a puppy, make sure you are ready to take on the dedication, patience and responsibility. The puppy will thank you forever.
