My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pictures coming very soon. Lorelei is a beauty and nearing "goddess" status per Norse mythology. She is gentle and loving and on the timid side. She and her brother, Thor, were rescued from a shelter where they were simply much too scared and needed to get out of there!

Thor and Lorelei are going to be BIG! One Bullmastiff rescue group looked at them and suggested that they looked like English Bullmastiff mixes. They are around four months old and already Thor is over 33 pounds, and Lorelei is close behind at 26 pounds.

These babies sleep through the night in a crate and ride very well in the car. They are going to make their adoptive families very happy, they just need to find them first. Please complete and submit the application found under RESOURCES on the home page of our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org, as well as pictures of your yard and other areas you would keep one of these babies if you would like to be considered to adopt Thor or Lorelei.

All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.

Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed, de-flea'd, is up to date on shots, is spayed/neutered, microchipped, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead & collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
