Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Murphy was adopted from the shelter last year, but just came back to us because the family's home was flooded several months ago leaving them without a permanent place to live. Poor Murphy was passed from friend to friend leaving him confused and unhappy. Murphy is a very friendly and loving one-year-old Beagle/Pointer mix. He weighs 40 lbs and has already been neutered. He is now looking for a lifetime home, preferably with a fenced yard where he can run and play with his toys since he loves to be outside. He is very gentle and you can take toys right out of his mouth. Murphy has never lived with young children so we prefer to place him in a home with kids ages 13 and up. He gets very excited around cats and probably needs a home with no kitties. He knows Sit, but definitely needs leash training.
If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our dog adoption application here: http://medfieldshelter.com/dog_applications/new. Our dog adoption fee is $350. Every dog we place is vaccinated, wormed, treated for ticks/fleas, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash and a month's worth of heartworm preventative.
With very few exceptions, dogs are happiest and the most well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families who are willing to make a commitment to both.
All adoption meetings are by appointment only as we only have one employee. Our manager or one of our volunteers will be happy to set up an appointment for you to come meet the pets, but please fill out the adoption application first.
