The Chester SPCA is a group of friends who have been rescuing pets for years. We specialize in rescuing adult cats and kittens, feral and semi-feral cats. We have recently changed our name from Smitty's Cat Rescue to The Chester SPCA due to the great need for animal rescue in the Chester area and to establish the organization's growth in infrastructure. We hope to rescue dogs in the future, until that time we assist with the publicity of dogs that are part of other rescue groups.

Additional adoption info
Adopters will be asked to complete an adoption application so that we can properly match a pet to their home. They can also request a specific pet and if possible we will do what we can to match the pet they requested to them. A fee of $50 is charged for kittens, sometimes kittens are offered two for one during "kitten" season. We ask for a donation of $10 to $20 for an adult cat, as the older cats are much harder to place.
