We are the Lander Co. Animal Control/Shelter located in Battle Mtn. Nv. We strive very hard to place as many adoptable pets in good, loving, stable homes as we can. We are a small mining community with a large dog population!! We love to help pets be reunited with their families and finding new families for the ones that are not reclaimed. We work very hard in keeping our shelter & dogs clean and comfortable and treat "ALL" our dogs as if they were truly our own.

Adopting A NEW FRIEND* Adopting your new family member is so easy!!! Our adoption fee is $40.00 plus $5.00 for a Lander County License [if applies]. All dogs are microchipped at the time of adoption and receive 30 days free Shelter Care Pet Insurance. Dogs adopted to Lander County residents will receive a spay / neuter certificate which covers $50.00 off the spay /neuter procedure.
